A challenging period for fixed-income assets led to stagnant results for several prominent multi-strategy hedge funds throughout September.
Millennium Management, the $97 billion firm led by Izzy Englander, saw flat returns in September, according to a source close to the New York-based entity who spoke with Themoneytimes. Year-to-date, the firm has seen gains of 8.1%.
ExodusPoint Capital Management, headed by Michael Gelband, experienced a 0.7% decline in September, per a source familiar with the company. Gelband, a former head of Millennium’s fixed-income division, has achieved a 4.1% return for 2026.
Equity-focused managers found the month less demanding. Despite the S&P 500 dropping approximately 0.5%, firms such as Dymon Asia and North Rock Capital managed to post profits.
The mentioned organizations declined to provide official comments. Data will be updated in the table as further confirmations are received.
