Jordan Karp founded his real estate brokerage at age 26 and has grown the firm to nearly $1 billion in transaction volume without achieving traditional work-life balance. Before launching the full-time business in late 2022, Karp spent 2020-2022 building an investment portfolio and conducting cold calls across industrial, commercial, retail, residential, single-family, development, creative, and strategic assets throughout Florida. He supplemented his side deal-making—brokering opportunities where he identified market value—until December 2022, then transitioned to a full-time career. To date, his cumulative transaction volume reaches approximately $500 million from January onward, with a lifetime total approaching $1 billion.
I launched my business at the start of 2023 after spending 2020-2022 building an investment portfolio and cold-calling across various property types in Florida. From January to now, I’ve closed roughly $500 million in deals, bringing the overall lifetime volume to near $1 billion.
My days blend high-energy activities seamlessly. I conduct client meetings on rooftops, boats, and paddle courts, often visiting clients in Miami via boat or yacht to show properties. After completing runs along North Bay Road and nearby islands—sometimes passing potential acquisitions—I return home around midnight and stay connected through calls and messages until morning. Door-knocking remains a core part of my business, where I personally visit homes despite lacking a typical work-life separation. I embrace rejection as fuel for persistence, operating on a long-term play that prioritizes sustained effort over immediate outcomes.
