Oscar Health Tuesday said former Aetna executive Mark Bertolini will take over as chief executive officer effective next week, replacing company co-founder Mario Schlosser.
Oscar, which has yet to turn a profit after years selling individual health insurance coverage and health plans to small business, said Schlosser “will transition to President of Technology, reporting to Mark.”
“In his new role, Mario will lead product and engineering, with a focus on building Oscar’s tech platform for the future and continuing to set the strategy for the +Oscar roadmap,” Oscar said in a statement Tuesday.
