Happy Monday, everyone! Hope you had a great weekend. As it turns out, I picked up an ear infection recently, so I’m trying to rest up as much as I can before going on a trip soon. But anyone who might expect me not to write about today’s game of Quordle has another thing coming. Clues and the answers are just ahead.
For any newcomers out there, here’s how to play Quordle: Just start typing in words. You have four five-letter words to guess and nine attempts to find them all. The catch is that you play all four words simultaneously.
If you get a letter in the right place for any of the four words, it will light up in green. If a word contains a letter from one of your guesses but it’s in the wrong place, it will appear in yellow. You could always check out the practice games before taking on the daily puzzle too.

- Word 1 (top left) clue — wedge or block placed against a wheel or round object to stop it from moving
- Word 2 (top right) clue — short, pithy statement denoting a general truth or rule of conduct. Also, a well-known men’s magazine
- Word 3 (bottom left) clue — used to describe someone acting strange or silly. Also, knocked [blank], expression used to describe someone upset or confused by something surprising
- Word 4 (bottom right) clue —gradually wear away
- Three words each have a repeated letter
- Today’s words start with C, M, L and E
