California-based cannabis and lifestyle brand Stiiizy announced this week that it is entering the regulated cannabis market in Illinois, bringing the number of states where the company’s products are available to five. The brand’s launch in Illinois will include three of its signature product lines, with a rollout to more than 90% of the licensed dispensaries serving the state’s $1.5 billion adult-use cannabis market.
“We planted our flag in the Midwest with our Michigan launch. Now that we’ve established our brand and team there, it made perfect sense to expand to Illinois. The market had time to mature, which was essential to us since we are known for product consistency: always available, tastes the same and fairly priced,” Stiiizy managing partner Ryan Jundt said in a statement from the company on Thursday. “We also see a true cannabis culture in Illinois, one that’s underserved. We love markets like that, because when we go where there’s a genuine cannabis culture, we meet that demand.”
Stiiizy’s Illinois launch will start with three of the company’s signature product lines, including the Stiiizy “OG” Pod featuring botanical terpenes available in a selection of sativa, indica and hybrid cultivars in one-gram and half-gram sizes. Stiiizy “CDT” Pods feature cannabis-derived terpenes extracted from single-sourced plants to preserve the natural terpene profile of each flower strain, also available in sativa, indica and hybrid cannabis strains in one-gram and half-gram sizes. Rounding out the initial selection is the Stiiizy “Liiil” Disposable Pod, billed as a “weed pen that delivers an unexpected vaping experience with great taste and bigger clouds.”
Stiiizy Now Available In Five States
Retailers carrying Stiiizy products in Illinois include Green Rose Dispensary, Windy City Cannabis, Ivy Hall, Dispensary 33 and Rise, among others. Stiiizy products are also available at licensed cannabis dispensaries in California, Arizona, Nevada and Michigan. The company’s reputation has preceded it in Illinois, where consumers are already awaiting the arrival of the brand.
“When we originally started launching in Michigan, we noticed that any post we’d put on our Instagram would have a ton of comments saying, ‘When are you coming to Illinois?’ Or, ‘Why aren’t you in Illinois? Please make Illinois your next state,’” Jundt explains in an email. “I saw those comments and personally started going to Illinois to determine if it’d be a good next market for us. When I was visiting, I’d be walking around with my Stiiizy hoodie on, and I’d literally get stopped by people in the street.”
The consistent quality of Stiiizy’s cannabis offerings has fostered a passionate following for the brand in the company’s home state of California, creating a strong demand for its products that has spread to the other states it operates in and beyond. Additionally, Stiiizy is known for its commitment to uplifting the communities around it through its community development program Stiiizy Joint Efforts, which is well-established in California and Michigan.
“Bringing people together and bridging communities is what the power of cannabis is all about. At Stiiizy, we’re committed to serving individuals and organizations that drive impactful change everywhere we operate,” said DeRon Waller, director of social impact at Stiiizy. “Throughout the year, our team volunteers time delivering healthy meals to those in need, supporting our veterans, and partnering with nonprofits that have a positive impact on communities disproportionately affected by cannabis prohibition. Helping people lead better lives is at the heart of our company culture and we’re excited to bring that value to Illinois.”
