When Formula 1 takes another turn around Las Vegas on November 20 to 22, the Strip will once again play the ultimate stage for speed, glamour and global attention.
As the city gears up for its third Grand Prix, there are both new and returning places to take in the action — whether from the track, a rooftop terrace, the paddock or resort viewing decks. The high-stakes energy extends far beyond the circuit, too, with exclusive drinking, dining and star-studded events transforming race week into a citywide celebration. From hospitality suites to intimate culinary experiences, Las Vegas is gassed to put on a show.
What to Know About the 2025 Las Vegas Grand Prix
The Las Vegas Grand Prix is a nighttime race designed to showcase the Strip’s lights to a worldwide audience. This year, to give spectators the ability to enjoy the city before and after the races, the practice, qualifiers and main event begin two hours earlier, starting at 8 p.m. local time instead of 10 p.m.
Logistically, the LVGP takes place on a 3.8-mile circuit that runs from the Grand Prix Plaza at Harmon Avenue and Koval Lane and extends past the Sphere, The Venetian and Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star Wynn Las Vegas, in front of Caesars, Bellagio and the Forbes Travel Guide Recommended Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on the Strip and back to Grand Prix Plaza, where the paddock building, pit lane and finish line reside. Expect the cars to hit top speeds of up to 215 mph.
And for the first time, F1 Academy comes to Las Vegas. The Academy launched in 2023 to promote female talent in motorsport to the next generation of racing fans. The all-woman, single-make series (meaning they all race the same car) concludes its 14-race, seven-round season on the Las Vegas Strip Circuit. Sponsors include Charlotte Tilbury, American Express, Tommy Hilfiger and Forbes Travel Guide, with the latter two backing 16-year-old racing sensation Alba Larsen.
EXCITEMENT AROUND THE TRACK
In a playful twist, F1 Academy struck an exclusive merchandise partnership with Hello Kitty & Friends for a first-of-its-kind, 36-item limited-edition collection of shirts, sweatshirts, collectible plush, headwear and accessories depicting the lovable characters as F1 Academy drivers and pit crew. A Hello Kitty-themed grandstand, set up in the East Harmon Zone by Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, provides close-up views of turns three and four. Fans also have access to a Hello Kitty pop-up cafe and a meet-and-greet with Kitty herself alongside F1 Academy drivers.
Built for the sports fanatic, the new Trackside Tavern at the Paddock Club Rooftop brings a sportsbook-inspired experience to the grid, packed with F1 memorabilia, multiscreen viewing areas, balcony vantage points, all-inclusive food and beverage and games such as shuffleboard, foosball and pool.
Fontainebleau and Papi Steak return for year two of their partnership with the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The Papi Steak Garage brings the restaurant’s bold, over-the-top dining experience trackside, where guests feel the cars roar by while feasting on wagyu steak tartare and golden Osetra caviar while superstar DJs perform.
Papi guests get access to it all: an F1 paddock pass, pit lane walks, guided laps on specialty trucks and 360-degree views from the Paddock Club rooftop, where LIV Nightclub stages its open-air party overlooking the grid. Back at the resort, Papi Steak passholders have access to the members-only Poodle Room.
On Lake Bellagio and overlooking the track’s longest straightaway, where the cars hit 210 mph, the Bellagio Fountain Club shows off food from MGM Resorts’ top chefs, such as José Andrés, David Chang and Wolfgang Puck. MGM Resorts recently extended its partnership with F1 to 2030, which means the Bellagio Fountain Club and adjacent Winner’s Stage are here to stay.
Fitting for the entertainment capital of the world, the Las Vegas Grand Prix features a full schedule of performances in between the racing action. The T-Mobile Zone at Sphere Stage (November 20 to 22) welcomes headliners T-Pain, MGK and Zedd as well as Sofi Tukker, Cassian and more, all set against the backdrop of the Sphere.
Shaggy and Dillon Francis are the marquee names on the Heineken Silver Stage (November 20 to 22), backed up by performances from Jazzy, Bandabba, Awakening, Jabbawockeez and more. This is the place to see all 20 Formula 1 drivers live on stage for Q&A sessions and autograph signings in the East Harmon Zone, adjacent to Virgin Hotels Las Vegas, just steps from the start and finish lines.
RESORT EXPERIENCES
During the first two editions of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Wynn’s Ultimate Race Week was the hub of many high-profile celebrity events surrounding the F1 lifestyle. This year, the high-octane fun began October 15 with the return of the Louis XIII Cognac pop-up to Wynn’s show shop space.
From November 19 to 23, the Las Vegas Grand Merchandise store opens in the Encore Theater rotunda. On November 19 at Wynn Golf Club, celebrities take on professional golfers at the invitation-only The Grid: Pro-Am. On November 20, industry leaders gather for the F1 Business Summit to discuss the sport’s cultural and business impact.
And since no major Vegas gathering is complete without a red carpet, the amfAR Las Vegas Gala returns to Wynn for its second year, drawing notables from the fashion, film and motorsports industries to support the organization’s research and philanthropy. Last year’s event included Diana Ross, Jay Leno and honorees Sylvester Stallone and his wife Jennifer Flavin Stallone.
The Venetian Resort Las Vegas and BWT Alpine reunite, with the resort hosting the pink-and-blue racing team and its fans. Nestled in Turn 12, where cars begin to make their way down Las Vegas Boulevard, Racetrack View Suites overlook the track as it winds past the Sphere. Check out the BWT Alpine Formula One show car on display. The official F1 Hub merchandise shop opens at Grand Canal Shoppes on November 8. Additionally, The Venetian provides direct access to the grandstands at the T-Mobile Zone at the Sphere.
The Caesars Palace Viewing Experience is a three-day party on the Strip in front of the resort, featuring closed-circuit viewing, live entertainment, interactive activations and numerous food and beverage options.
On November 21, Gordon Ramsay again hosts a four-course trackside lunch at his Hell’s Kitchen restaurant, where he shares his love of racing with attendees.
Across the street at The Cromwell (soon to be The Vanderpump Hotel), Giada De Laurentiis and her culinary team plan to throw a party from their perch at the heart of the Strip with all-inclusive food and drinks by the famed chef. Watch from the open windows or via the live feed.
Planet Hollywood’s new restaurant, Caramella, overlooks the main straight and creates an inviting terrace viewing experience — the restaurant’s 1970s Italian Riviera aesthetic complements the modern F1 vibes.
Back for another year and open November 20 to 22, Bellagio’s Shoey Bar spotlights two limited-edition Sparco shoe designs inspired by Bellagio’s Chihuly ceiling and seasonal Conservatory displays. New this year is The Helmet punchbowl cocktail, served in a one-of-a-kind, limited-edition F1 helmet.
From November 19 to 22, Ristorante Cavallino, a partnership between chef Massimo Bottura and Ferrari in Maranello, Italy, takes over Le Cirque, offering tasting and à la carte menus. Each dish celebrates Emilia-Romagna and reflects Ferrari’s spirit and Maranello’s cultural heritage.
At Four-Star Michael Mina, celebrity chef, author and restaurateur Brooke Williamson headlines The Guest List series on November 20 with a four-course menu in collaboration with chef Mina. On November 22, the restaurant holds a Quintessa Blending Class, where an expert guides wine lovers through a tasting of the individual components of each pour before producing a unique blend for the day, accompanied by canapés from Mina.
Prime Steakhouse welcomes a Schrader Cellars tasting with master sommelier Jason Smith, a joint effort with winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown, that delivers insights into one of Napa Valley’s lauded cabernet sauvignons.
Chinese culinary classics and sharp turns pair surprisingly well, thanks to the Peking Duck Meal at Jasmine, available November 20 to 22. The restaurant promises an express presentation that’s accompanied by a selection of champagne and red and white wines — all within one hour.
La Terrasse de Champagne pays homage to Moët & Chandon, the official champagne of the Las Vegas Grand Prix, with a presentation of Moët Imperial, Dom Pérignon and Dom Ruinart Rosé served lakeside.
The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas’ Wicked Spoon curates a menu inspired by different F1 race host cities from November 21 to 24. The digital art gallery in the hotel lobby showcases a series of F1-themed works that use color, light and motion to channel the energy from the track from November 18 to 23. A unique collection of race helmets, created by Las Vegas artists, goes on display during that time as well.
As the Strip transforms into a racetrack, Resorts World once again becomes Race World with night after night of supercharged events. Partnering with Oak View Group, Resorts World camps out at the sharp Turn 12 with three nights of hospitality at Club SI. Guests will enjoy culinary offerings from restaurants Famous Foods Street Eats and ¡VIVA! (November 20), Four-Star Kusa Nori and Wally’s (November 21), and celebrated chefs like Shaun Hergatt, Jeremy Ford and Billy Chang — plus cocktails crafted by Giorgio Bargiani of London’s Connaught Bar (November 22).
Bargiani also leads a three-night, invite-only mixology pop-up at Resorts World’s Allē Lounge on 66.
Near the circuit yet worlds away from the frenzy, Four-Star Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas is the ultimate Race Week refuge for travelers who want to recharge in between the spectacle. Throughout November, the hotel hosts motorsport artist Paul Oz and his “Art of Speed” exhibit with textured oil paintings and dramatic racing sculptures. The Moët Hennessy Victory Lounge features the Hall of Fame Collection’s curated display of authentic, race-worn suits and helmets, and the Pitshop Pop-Up sells 2025 team merchandise and collectibles.
Four Seasons Hotel Las Vegas also offers the Race & Revel package that includes a credit toward dining and spa services. There are plenty of ways to use it: The Five-Star spa debuts Race Ready Refresh (a menu of express treatments designed for the pace of the weekend), PRESS Lounge pours event-themed cocktails and Veranda cooks up a special post-Grand Prix Sunday brunch with live music.
