Sylvester Stallone’s Tulsa King wraps up its third season on Sunday. Will the Taylor Sheridan series come back for a fourth season?
Tulsa King Season 1 debuted on Paramount+ on Nov. 22, 2022, and consisted of nine episodes, while Season 2, which premiered on Sept 15, 2024, ran for 10 episodes. Season 3 of the series premiered just over a year later, on Sept. 21, with the first of 10 new episodes.
Stallone stars in Tulsa King as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, a former mob capo who is exiled to Tulsa, Okla., by his New York City crime family when he is sprung from prison after serving a 25-year sentence for murder. It doesn’t take Dwight long to build his own criminal empire in Tulsa, however, which begins with legal marijuana sales.
In Season 3, Dwight’s operation gets into the bourbon business after he purchases an esteemed liquor distillery. The logline for Tulsa King Season 3 reads, “As Dwight’s empire expands, so do his enemies – and the risks to his crew. Now, he faces his most dangerous adversaries in Tulsa yet: the Dunmires, a powerful old-money family that doesn’t play by old-world rules, forcing Dwight to fight for everything he’s built and protect his family.”
For viewers wondering about the future of Tulsa King after Sunday, the good news came the day of the Season 3 premiere on Sept. 17 when Paramount+ announced in a press release that it renewed the series for Season 4.
In addition, the streaming platform noted that former Sopranos producer Terence Winter, who was the showrunner and writer on Tulsa King Season 1 and executive producer of the first five episodes of Season 2, was returning as an executive producer and head writer on Season 4.
Paramount+ has yet to announce the premiere date of Tulsa King Season 4.

In addition, Paramount+ noted, Tulsa King Season 2’s premiere episode amassed 21.1 million global streaming viewers, setting a new record for Paramount+ for being “the most watched global premiere at the time for any series” in the platform’s history.
In addition to Sylvester Stallone’s turn as Dwight “The General” Manfredi, Tulsa King Season 3 stars Robert Patrick as Jeremiah Dunmire, a malevolent liquor baron who is enraged by Dwight’s purchase of the famed Montague liquor distillery.
