Who Was Eliminated During Disney Night On Dancing With The Stars?
Hilaria Baldwin and Gleb Savchenko were eliminated during the Oct. 7 episode of Dancing With the Stars. The couple had the lowest combined total of judges’ scores and viewers’ votes from Disney Night.
The elimination was another shocking one, following last week’s departure of Fifth Harmony star Lauren Jauregui. Hilaria was sent home despite landing in the middle of the pack with her scores, meaning she didn’t receive enough of the public’s vote to advance to the next round. Some fans have expressed mixed reactions to Hilaria, with some being frustrated by her previous experience in ballroom dancing.
When co-host Julianne Hough asked about her time on the show, Hilaria responded, “This has been an incredible experience. I am so grateful to all of you. And I’m grateful to my children and my family. Thank you guys for this… this has been wonderful, and I’m cheering on everybody in the cast, because this has been an amazing time.
Gleb also expressed how proud he is of her, saying, “I’m so proud of you, you’re a superhero in the dance studio, incredible mom to your amazing seven kids, you put so much love and passion into dance. You are truly inspirational.” He added that he was happy he had the chance to dance with her.
Co-host Alfonso Ribeiro revealed that the show surpassed 40 million votes for the first time ever.
DWTS airs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and Disney+. Episodes are available to stream on Hulu and ABC.com the next day.
