From catching a show at the world-famous Sphere to ascending 46 stories in an Eiffel Tower replica for sweeping city views or looping around the exterior of the New York-New York Hotel on a heart-pounding rollercoaster, Las Vegas remains the ultimate fantasyland.
Now, Sin City is unveiling a new luxury experience that will transport you to Italy, and it’s one that even outshines The Venetian Resort’s iconic gondola rides. Select guests will soon be able to set sail around the dancing fountains along the Las Vegas Strip aboard a sleek yacht at the Bellagio Resort & Casino.
“Poised to become one of Las Vegas’ most coveted luxury experiences, the yacht will reimagine one of the city’s most iconic landmarks into an intimate escape, inviting select guests to cruise the lake as the world-famous Fountains dance around them,” according to a news release from the resort.
The yacht made its first appearance on Oct. 3, offering a preview of the new attraction set to officially debut next month alongside the opening of Carbone Riviera, which will replace Picasso, the fine-dining institution that overlooked the fountains for the past 25 years.
Carbone—beloved by celebrities and famed for its spicy rigatoni vodka—first opened in downtown Manhattan in 2013, quickly becoming one of New York’s most coveted reservations.
When Carbone Riviera opens in Las Vegas later this fall, diners can expect an opulent seafood display showcasing delicacies flown in from across the globe. The towering ice spread will feature Dungeness and king crab, oysters, lobster, sea urchin, razor clams, and more.
Menu highlights will include salt-baked branzino, grilled Dover sole, spicy lobster meatballs, and a decadent two-pound lobster pasta, alongside the restaurant’s signature spicy rigatoni vodka.
The 33-foot Riva “Anniversario” yacht named Fortuna was paraded down the Las Vegas Strip before being lifted by crane into the resort’s Lago di Como, the lake that fronts the Bellagio.
Fittingly, Fortuna—meaning “luck” in Italian—symbolizes good fortune for all who board. During its maiden voyage, the yacht glided across the water as the fountains danced in celebration to Andrea Bocelli’s “Con Te Partirò.”
Handcrafted in Italy and one of only 18 of its kind in the world, Fortuna is set to become an icon of Bellagio’s evolving luxury.
While details on pricing and reservations have yet to be released, this exclusive yacht experience could offer a serene new vantage point for watching the fountains—especially as the Strip readies for the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix (Nov. 20–22), when traffic will be temporarily disrupted.
The Bellagio’s fountains are an icon of the strip, with water shooting up more than 460 feet in the air and synchronized with music and light for a multi-sensory performance.
Depending on the time of day, the shows run every 15 to 30 minutes.
Here’s the schedule:
Monday through Friday: Fountain display is every 30 minutes from 3 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Saturday, Sunday and holidays: Fountain display is every 30 minutes from noon to 7:30 p.m. and every 15 minutes from 8 p.m. to midnight.
Guests who love the dancing fountains can also book premium lake view and fountain view rooms.
