Beyoncé’s name is all over the Hot 100 this week. While she might not sit at No. 1, nearly two dozen tunes from the singer appear on the ranking of the most-consumed songs in the U.S.—a sum which includes plenty of new wins. As she occupies nearly one-fourth of the entire list, she passes her husband for a new spot in the history books.
On this week’s Hot 100, Beyoncé claims 23 spaces. 21 of those songs are new to the tally, and that means she ups her career total number of wins on the ranking considerably.
Throughout her solo career, Beyoncé has now charted 106 hits on the Hot 100. With 20-plus new smashes on the competitive list, she leapfrogs over a number of other superstars and joins the list of artists who have accrued triple-digit placements on the ranking.
Beyoncé now sits just ahead of Jay-Z, her husband. So far, the rap icon has collected 105 appearances on the Hot 100. He’s tied with Justin Bieber, who has snagged the same number of placements on the chart.
Among all artists, Drake continues to lead the way, and no one is close to him. He has snagged 329 hits on the Hot 100, and that sum will surely climb soon, as he never goes too long between debuts.
Taylor Swift claims the most Hot 100 appearances among women, with 232. She’s going to increase that number soon, as her new album The Tortured Poets Department is due later this month, and it will surely produce plenty of new Hot 100 hits.
Currently, Beyoncé appears right behind Lil Uzi Vert on the ranking of the musicians who have reached the Hot 100 with the most songs. They have collected 108 placements so far. In addition to Jay-Z and Bieber, Beyoncé also passed artists like 21 Savage and Young Boy Never Broke Again, who aren’t far behind her, and who may catch up soon.
