We might know the Brazilian shoe brand, Arezzo, for their stylish women’s footwear, their craftsmanship, and of course, their long standing relationship with Brazilian model, Gisele Bündchen.
She has starred in several modeling campaigns for the quality shoe brand over the years, from their “My Turn” campaign to the “Dream On” campaign.
Now, Bündchen stars in their latest campaign, “On My Way,” their Spring/Summer 2024 collection. In a campaign video, the brand explains that the collection is for the modern, independent woman. “Your light is your path,” they write in an Instagram post. “Your uniqueness, your power.”
The latest collection features over 100 new shoes. In the campaign, Bündchen proves that balletcore is still having its moment in 2024. She models the Campaign Leather Ballet shoe in black, which is covered in gold studs and a flower on the rounded toe. She also models the Campaign Leather Pump, a slip on black pointed high heel shoe with a stiletto golden heel in a floral pattern.
In another campaign image, the supermodel models the Campaign Leather Boot in black. The zip-up classic boot features a high stiletto gold heel and a pointed toe.
These looks are sure to spark inspiration for chilly spring and feminine summer looks, as the heels for many of the items incorporate a sculptural floral style. The looks will likely stay stylish well into the fall.
Some other stylish highlights from the new collection includes the Campaign Leather Sandal with a high gold stiletto heel and an ankle strap, and the Campaign Leather Flat Sandal, which comes in black and brown. The low heel strappy shoe has golden floral embellishments that the brand calls “cute, romantic and comfortable.”
Arezzo is a trendsetting shoe brand first founded in 1972 by two brothers, Anderson Birman, and Jefferson Birman. Over the past 50 years, the Brazilian shoe brand has grown to be carried in 50 countries with 450 retail stores.
Worn by celebrities like Winnie Harlow and Victoria Beckham, the shoe brand uses top quality Italian craftsmanship for their footwear. Today, the brand is under the creative direction of Giovanni Bianco.
The son of Arezzo co-founder Anderson Birman is Alexandre Birman, who is also a shoe designer. He runs his namesake brand, as well as trendy shoe brand Schutz, and made headlines for helping front line workers in Brazil during the pandemic.
The shoes are made in their own privately owned factories in Sinos River Valley in southern Brazil. Arezzo prides itself on ethical shoe production, paying their employees fair wages and within labor regulations. The company prides itself on its sustainable efforts, with 70% of their leather tannery suppliers being certified by the Leather Working Group, a non-profit that drives best practices for leather production.
Bündchen released her first cookbook called Nourish: Simple Recipes to Empower Your Body and Feed Your Soul on March 26. The cookbook features 100 healthy recipes, including Brazilian specialties like Pão de Queijo and Acai bowls. In a
recent interview with ABC, she talked about entering a new chapter in her life. “Now I get to create a new season, a new chapter in my life,” she said. “I get to learn new things, and I get to walk my path in a different way, you know. I’m grateful for all of it. I’m grateful for every lesson.”
