Florence’s Amerigo Vespucci Airport is undergoing a major renovation this year—it’s first since 1999—and among the upgrades is a 19-acre vineyard on the roof of the new international terminal. This remarkable feature reflects Tuscany’s importance as one of the premier wine regions in the world and will feature 38 rows of productive vineyards. The grapes will be cultivated and harvested by leading vintners from the region, and wine will be produced and aged on-site in specialized cellars. When completed in 2026, the new airport is expected to welcome 5.9 million international passengers annually. Hopefully, with a glass of wine.

In addition to racing on the world’s most famous frozen lake, the classic cars compete in five classes at the world’s coolest concours. Or, as ICE bills itself—the coldest.

The Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star hotel is nestled on 24 acres at the southernmost tip of the Baja California Peninsula, minutes from Cabo San Lucas’ bustling downtown—but seemingly worlds apart.
