WWE could play Crown Jewel, but something tells me there’s at least one surprise in store for fans. While we’re not going to see five swerves, it seems like at least one of the swerves I point out has a decent chance of happening.
First, here’s the information on the show including the confirmed card set for RAC Arena in Perth, Australia.
WWE Crown Jewel 2025 – How to Watch
- Date: Saturday, October 11
- Time: 8 am ET
- Location: RAC Arena in Perth, Australia
- How to Watch: ESPN App
WWE Crown Jewel 2025 Full Card
- Cody Rhodes (SmackDown’s Undisputed WWE Champion) vs. Seth Rollins (Raw’s World Heavyweight Champion) – Singles match for the WWE Crown Jewel Championship
- Stephanie Vaquer (Raw’s Women’s World Champion) vs. Tiffany Stratton (SmackDown’s WWE Women’s Champion) – Singles match for the WWE Women’s Crown Jewel Championship
- John Cena vs. AJ Styles – Singles match
- Rhea Ripley and Iyo Sky vs. The Kabuki Warriors (Asuka and Kairi Sane) – Tag team match
- Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed – Australian Street Fight
Randy Orton Turns on Cody Rhodes
This is the one most people expect. Perhaps that’s why it won’t happen. It makes the most sense. After all, we all expect Orton to get another run at the title, and he’s one of the only prominent champions who hasn’t feuded with Rhodes.
The two are seemingly very close in real life. Because of that, there could be some very compelling material and storytelling if it’s done right. Orton costing Rhodes the Crown Jewel ring would make sense because the American Nightmare would still have what Orton covets.
Brock Lesnar Attacks AJ Styles and John Cena
It seems like the WWE will want Lesnar to make an appearance at almost every major premium live event. He hasn’t been advertised, but it seems strange for Cena to be facing Styles in a match with nothing coming from the Beast Incarnate’s beatdown of the GOAT at Wrestlepalooza.
Lesnar could show up and crush two legends, further putting him over in his return. Ultimately, Cena could get revenge before the end of his farewell tour.
Rhea Ripley Turns on Iyo Sky
I don’t know what to make of this friendship between Iyo and Rhea if it’s not going to end in a turn for one of them. Rhea doesn’t need to be a face. Her army of fans are going to be with her no matter what.
Iyo is much better as a face. Everything about her screams it. They have become great rivals and partners in high-stakes matches.
Ultimately, the money is in having them work another all-time classic match.
Zilla Fatu Joins the Bloodline Saga
This one might be the most far-fetched, but it would be the coolest.
Many wrestling fans have been waiting on Zilla Fatu, the son of the legendary Umaga, to make his way to WWE. Earlier this year, he said he wasn’t ready but that coming to WWE was his ultimate goal.
I could imagine Zilla showing up to join Roman or to attack him. In any capacity, the long-awaited WWE debut would blow the roof off the RAC Arena.
Jey Uso Goes Full Tribal Chief
While the Usos aren’t necessarily scheduled to be in action at Crown Jewel, it’s hard to imagine they won’t be on hand for the Australian Street Fight. That’s a no-DQ match, which almost promises outside interference.
Jey could flip the script to go full Tribal Chief and cause Roman the match against Bronson Reed.
Stay tuned for event coverage on Saturday.
