Week 6 of the fantasy football season is here, which means we have some more flex rankings for you. Today, we’ll be taking all of the Top 50 players who are flex eligible (aka running backs, wide receivers, or tight ends) and stacking them up among themselves.
The goal of doing this is to help you set expectations for your fantasy football team in Week 6 and also to help with start or sit questions. The rankings below are primarily for PPR leagues, but you can use these for Half-PPR leagues as well.
Notable Injury Updates/Teams on Bye
For Week 6, only two teams are on bye. The Houston Texans and Minnesota Vikings.
In the absence of Chuba Hubbard, Rico Dowdle exploded for 32.4 points on 206 rushing yards. There’s not much clarity on whether Hubbard will return, but this ranking is going off the expectation that Hubbard may play, but in a limited workload.
That should give Dowdle a good number of opportunities, even if it’s not as many as in Week 5. The other main player is Rachaad White. It seems like Bucky Irving won’t play in Week 6, so this ranking operates under that assumption.

Must Start Running Back: Rachaad White (TB)
Any time that Rachaad White is the lead back, he should be in your fantasy football lineup. White may not be the most efficient back, but he’s able to handle a ton of volume.
Last week, White had 18 touches, which he turned into 23.1 fantasy points. A lot of this came from two touchdowns, but without Irving, there’s almost no competition for the goal-line snaps.
In Week 6, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers take on the San Francisco 49ers as three-point favorites per FanDuel. With an over/under of 47.5 points, this is a great matchup for White.
Must Start Wide Receiver: Michael Pittman Jr (IND)
Following a season where Michael Pittman Jr had just 10.4 PPG (PPR), many were skeptical of a fast start for Pittman. Five weeks in, and Pittman is averaging 15.5 PPG, proving it’s not a fluke.
This shouldn’t be a shock, as in 2023, we saw Pittman score 15.6 PPG. Now that Pittman has Daniel Jones, who has also proven himself under center, it’s time to buy in on both players.
Although the Indianapolis Colts are 6.5-point favorites against the Arizona Cardinals, the over/under is set at 47.5. With all of that in mind, you should feel good about another strong fantasy football performance from Pittman.
