This October, the Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival is back for a five-day celebration designed for those who love all things food, art, and music. From October 22 to 26, 2025, the Caribbean’s leading luxury resort, Baha Mar, is pulling out all the stops with world-class chefs, dazzling art showcases, and a special headline performance by Lenny Kravitz.
The festival officially kicks off Wednesday evening with Daniel Boulud’s annual Truffle Dinner at Café Boulud and the opening of FUZE Art Fair. FUZE will showcase work from more than 70 artists and 40 galleries across 14 countries, along with interactive workshops like straw craft and acrylic pouring that invite guests to roll up their sleeves and dive into Bahamian artistry.
This year’s culinary lineup is stacked. Returning favorites like Marcus Samuelsson, Amanda Freitag, Carla Hall, Maneet Chauhan, Geoffrey Zakarian, and Scott Conant join forces with Italian butcher legend Dario Cecchini, French master Daniel Boulud, and Bahamian talent Simeon Hall Jr. for tastings, dinners, and masterclasses that spotlight flavors from across the globe while celebrating the spirit of The Bahamas.
This year also brings a brand-new Kitchen Masterclass Series, where guests can cook alongside their favorite chefs. You’ll find Geoffrey Zakarian teaching a classic Niçoise salad, Amanda Freitag breaking down Beef Wellington, and Maneet Chauhan and Carla Hall leading an Indian street food potluck. It all happens in The Kitchen at Baha Mar, a high-tech, state-of-the-art culinary learning space that feels equal parts playground and classroom.
On Thursday night, Weekend Passholders are in for a once-in-a-lifetime treat: Lenny Kravitz will headline the festival’s “Taste of Baha Mar” Welcome Party. A proud Bahamian with deep family roots and a longtime resident of Eleuthera, Kravitz returns home to deliver an intimate performance that promises to be unforgettable.
“The Bahamas has always been my home, as well as heartfelt inspiration for my music,” said Kravitz. “I’m humbled to join fellow Caribbean artists, creatives and innovators for The Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival, and I look forward to sharing this experience with a community that means so much to me.”
Throughout the weekend, other Festival events include the Coconut & Cocktails Day Party with Marcus Samuelsson, Scott Conant, and Marv ‘MrMixx’ Bahamas, The Art of Brunch with Amanda Freitag, Carla Hall, and Maneet Chauhan, and even a festive Bahamian BBQ & Rum celebration hosted by Simeon Hall Jr. to close things out.
For Conant, this year carries extra significance. Not only is he returning to a festival he’s been part of for years, but he’ll also be debuting his brand-new restaurant, Leola, which opens at Baha Mar in early November.
“Being at Baha Mar for The Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival is something I look forward to every year,” says Conant. “This year is especially meaningful, as I’ll be welcoming guests to my new restaurant, Leola, for the very first time. I’ll also be cooking alongside friends and colleagues — hosting A Taste of Tuscany, a collaboration dinner with Amanda Freitag, and joining Marcus Samuelsson for the always-fun Coconut & Cocktails party.”
With an impressive roster of culinary stars, a deeper integration of the arts through FUZE, and a full-circle musical homecoming from Lenny Kravitz, the 2025 Bahamas Culinary & Arts Festival at Baha Mar is shaping up to be the resort’s biggest and most vibrant edition yet.
