Another winner of The Voice has been crowned. NBC’s long-running singing competition aired its highly anticipated Season 27 finale on Tuesday, May 20, featuring final performances from the contestants, coaches, and lots of exciting special guests.
Heading into finale week, all four coaches — Kelsea Ballerini, Adam Levine, Michael Bublé, and John Legend — had a shot at winning the season, as each had at least one contestant competing in the two-part finale. The Top 5 finalists in the running for the Season 27 title were Renzo (Team Legend), Lucia Flores-Wiseman (Team Adam), Jadyn Cree (Team Bublé), Jaelen Johnston (Team Kelsea), and Adam David (Team Bublé).
While the contestants each performed two solo songs on Monday, they returned to the stage on Tuesday for the second part of the finale to sing duets with their coaches. Later in the night, they also joined fellow Season 27 contestants for a group performance of “Pompeii” by Bastille.
First up were Renzo and Legend, who performed “As It Was” by Harry Styles. Ballerini and Johnston followed with a rendition of “Whiskey Lullaby” by Alison Krauss and Brad Paisley. Bublé and David then sang “The Weight” by The Band, and Flores-Wiseman and Levine took on “While My Guitar Gently Weeps” by The Beatles. Bublé and Cree closed out the duets with “I Got You Babe” by Sonny & Cher.
The finale also welcomed former coaches and mentors, past winners, and fan-favorite artists to perform both new releases and iconic hits. Former coach Kelly Clarkson performed her new single, “Where Have You Been,” while Blake Shelton sang his track “Texas.” Alicia Keys ft. Amanda Reid, Chance the Rapper, Foreigner, James Bay ft. Sheryl Crow, Joe Jonas, and Season 22 winner Bryce Leatherwood also took the stage.
Who Won The Voice 2025?
Adam David was crowned the winner of The Voice Season 27. The 34-year-old singer from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, is the first winner to come from an instant save, according to host Carson Daly.
David’s win marks the second consecutive victory for Coach Bublé, who previously won in his debut season, Season 26, with artist Sofronio Vasquez.
“I love you, man,” Bublé said to David on air before the results were announced. “You’re my kind of artist. I love my sister and she wrote me this morning and she said, ‘You tell me when Adam David puts his tickets on sale ’cause I need to go show see that show.’”
“Congratulations, I knew you could do it,” the Canadian singer added.
Jaelen Johnston came in second place, followed by Renzo in third. Lucia Flores-Wiseman landed in fourth place, while Jadyn Cree finished Season 27 in fifth.
