Tom Cruise and his fellow Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning cast members attended a photocall at the 2025 Cannes Film Festival in the South of France on Wednesday ahead of the film’s premiere.
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning is the eighth and presumably final installment of Cruise’s Mission: Impossible film series, which kicked off in 1996.
Joining Cruise at the photocall were director Christopher McQuarrie and fellow stars Hayley Atwell, Angela Bassett, Hannah Waddingham, Greg Tarzan Davis, Simon Pegg, Pom Klementieff, Esai Morales and Tramell Tillman.
Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning’s world premiere at Cannes comes ahead of the film’s worldwide release on May 23.
The 78th Cannes Film Festival runs through May 24. Other films premiering at the festival include Spike Lee’s Highest 2 Lowest, starring Denzel Washington, and Wes Anderson’s The Phoenician Scheme, starring Benicio Del Toro, Mia Threapleton, Tom Hanks, Bryan Cranston and Willem Dafoe.
Also premiering at the festival are the feature directorial debuts from actors Scarlett Johansson and Kristen Stewart. Oscar-winning actor Robert De Niro was presented with an honorary Palme d’Or during opening night festivities Tuesday in Cannes.
