Regent Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) offered a first look at its newest ship, Seven Seas Prestige.
Set to launch in late 2026, the vessel is expected to make waves as Regent’s first new ship class in ten years. A second Prestige Class ship is planned to set sail in 2029.
Building On Successful Partnerships
RSSC collaborated with Italian shipbuilder Fincantieri and design Studio DADO to construct and design the new ultra-luxury ship, Seven Seas Prestige. The collaboration builds upon successful past partnerships.
Studio DADO, a Miami-based firm, was responsible for the spectacular interior architecture of Seven Seas Grandeur (launched in 2023, the last in Regent’s Explorer Class). Grandeur garnered a host of awards for the excellence of its design, craftsmanship, and overall cruise experience.
“From stem to stern, this ship is striking, with statement pieces that will literally make you gasp…,” wrote Cruise Critic Editor-in-Chief Colleen McDaniel in her expert review of Seven Seas Grandeur.
Regent Explorer Class ships have attracted a loyal following of discerning travelers who resonate with its branding as the “most luxurious ship in the world.” That’s a tough act to follow.
A First Look Inside Seven Seas Prestige
Regent released renderings and a video of two lavish public spaces on board Seven Seas Prestige, the Starlight Atrium and Galileo’s Bar.
The line notes that inspiration for the design and decor of these spaces reflects a blend of old-world elegance and modern sophistication.
Influenced by classical and Renaissance architecture, the two-story Starlight Atrium features twin spiral staircases that begin on Deck 4 and combine on Deck 5.
“Our goal was to get people to stop in their tracks, awe-struck by its sheer scale and magnificence,” said Yohandel Ruiz, founding partner of Studio DADO, in a Regent press release announcing the reveal.
Sculptural furniture and the line’s signature museum-quality art on Deck 5 encourage guests to linger there and soak in the ocean views. The soothing color palette of dusty rose, taupe and cream is conducive to relaxation.
From a seat at Galileo’s Bar, guests can see the opulent spiral staircases and a ceiling styled like an oil painting, framed by metal detailing.
The walls are clad in a limestone texture with jewel-like sconces.
In addition, Regent will be unveiling new accommodation categories, new dining experiences, a reimagined Regent Suite and other innovations on Seven Seas Prestige.
Unrivaled Space and Included Amenities on Seven Seas Prestige
Seven Seas Prestige can accommodate up to 822 guests, which is considered at the low end of the small-to-mid ships category in size. However, the new ship promises the highest passenger-to-space ratio in the cruise industry.
Regent is well-known for its inclusive pricing, which includes flights and transfers, gourmet dining in specialty restaurants, wine and spirits, entertainment, unlimited internet, valet laundry, gratuities, and one-night pre-cruise hotel package for guests staying in Concierge-level suites and higher.
