The men’s 2025 NCAA Tournament continues into the last weekend of the month with March Madness Sweet 16 games up next following the conclusion of Sunday’s Round of 32 games. The initial college basketball match-ups and betting lines are set with few surprises thus far through the NCAA Tournament. The adjusted futures odds to reach the Final Four in San Antonio and odds to win the national championship are drawing more action including one bettor still alive with Duke (+350) to cut down the nets and return more than $2 million on his $500,000 bet.
2025 NCAA Men’s Tournament So Far
Thursday and Friday First Round March Madness games saw few upsets and betting favorites went 25-7 straight up and 19-13 against the spread (ATS) – good for 59% betting winners. Game totals saw less scoring with over/unders going 11-21 – good for 65% winners betting under the total.
Saturday’s Round of 32 saw favorites go 5-3 SU and 4-4 ATS and over/under totals 5-3. Purdue and Michigan kept the Big Ten perfect in the NCAA Tournament until UCLA lost the last game of the day to drop the Big Ten to 10-1 heading into Sunday with Michigan State, Maryland, Illinois and Oregon trying to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
Sunday’s results will be updated here as No. 1 seed Florida (-8.5) tries to take down 2-time defending champion Connecticut in the West Region and No. 1 Duke (-11.5) the biggest second round favorite against Baylor in the East.
Both No. 1 seeds Auburn and Houston won Saturday, as did No. 2 Tennessee. But No. 2 St. John’s and coach Rick Pitino was upset by No. 10 Arkansas and coach John Calipari in a matchup of Hall of Fame coaches. The Houston Cougars advanced to their sixth straight Sweet 16 while Gonzaga’s streak of 9 straight Sweet 16 appearances ended.

The Southeastern Conference (SEC) had a record 14 teams in the 2025 NCAA Tournament, and seven remain with top seeds No. 1 Florida, No. 2 Alabama, No. 3 Kentucky and No. 6 Ole Miss still playing Sunday ahead of March Madness Sweet 16 betting next weekend.
