For the moment, Morgan Wallen’s upcoming album I’m the Problem still does not have a release date. The country superstar has dropped several singles from the project and announced its title, but has not yet told fans when they’ll be able to get their hands on a copy.
That’s clearly not too disappointing to Wallen’s legion of followers, as millions continue to consume the music that made him a superstar in the first place as they wait for more details. As his three previous full-lengths continue to chart in America, one of them helps Wallen make history as it holds on and once more ranks among the most successful projects in the U.S.
One Thing at a Time is Still Living Inside the Top 10
One Thing at a Time is steady at No. 9 on the Billboard 200 this week. The blockbuster release has now spent 100 frames inside the top 10 on the company’s ranking of the most-consumed albums and EPs in America.
One Thing at a Time Makes History
Billboard reports that One Thing at a Time is just the second album in history to rack up 100 weeks inside the Billboard 200’s top 10. It joins Wallen’s previous set, Dangerous. That double album managed 158 stays between Nos. 1 and 10 on the competitive roster.
Morgan Wallen’s Dangerous Nears the Top 10
Amazingly, Dangerous almost adds to its accumulation of weeks inside the top 10 this time around. The collection lifts from No. 15 to No. 12, missing out on the highest tier by just two slots.
Morgan Wallen’s Historic Showing
This record belongs to Wallen, as he’s the only artist to see a project hold on inside the top 10 on the Billboard 200 for 100 weeks. Billboard notes, however, that four other releases have managed the same showing, though none of them are credited to one artist, but rather casts of various media projects.
According to the chart company, two original cast recordings and a pair of soundtracks have also racked up at least triple-digit stays inside the top 10 on the albums tally. The My Fair Lady original cast recording holds the all-time record with 173 frames in that region. The Sound of Music soundtrack, the West Side Story soundtrack, and The Sound of Music original cast recording all held on inside the top 10 for 109, 106, and 105 periods, respectively.
All three of Wallen’s full-length albums appear on the Billboard 200 at the moment. As One Thing at a Time keeps at No. 9 and Dangerous surges to No. 12, his breakout project, If I Know Me, pushes from No. 95 to No. 83 after once peaking at No. 10.
