Performer, designer and writer Isaac Mizrahi will return to 54 Below, the supper club in New York’s theater district, August 3 to 6 at 7 p.m.
Accompanied by his band, which is expected to perform a range of songs from Noel Coward to Grace Jones, Mizrahi will undoubtedly dish “on everything exciting and new happening in pop culture and social media,” 54 Below said.
Mizrahi performed there last summer, and also has an annual residency at the Café Carlyle in New York; he has also performed at Joe’s Pub, the Regency Ballroom and several City Winery locations nationwide.
Mizrahi is the subject and co-creator of Unzipped, a documentary following the making of his fall 1994 fashion collection. He also hosted his own TV talk show, “The Isaac Mizrahi Show,” for seven years, has written three books, and served as a judge on “Project Runway: All-Stars” for the series’ entire seven-season run.
In addition, he has his own production company, Isaac Mizrahi Entertainment, that has projects in development in TV, theater and literature. Mizrahi’s bestselling memoir, I.M., was published in 2019.
A recipient of a 2022 special Tony Award for excellence in the theater, 54 Below is a non-profit organization whose mission is “to preserve the music of Broadway and expand the art of the cabaret while growing opportunities for diverse communities of emerging and established artists and providing unparalleled audience experiences.”
