Madden 25 is seemingly getting a huge franchise mode update.
According to current in-game color commentator Charles Davis, multiple announce teams are heading to EA Madden.
Davis was a guest on the Ultimate Cleveland Sports Show, and he revealed the developerâs plan to âexpandâ and include multiple announce teams, allowing users to choose their commentary team.
Look at the video; the segment is at the 7:55 mark.
The update will be a massive addition to the seriesâ presentation qualities.
The NBA 2K franchise and EA FC have had multiple announce teams for multiple versions, but this will be the first time Madden has added this layer. While Davisâ information doesnât deliver many details, it opens the door for some exciting speculation.
Will Madden offer a team per conference or perhaps per division? Perhaps EA will create versions of ESPN, CBS, NFL Network, and Fox to mimic the real-life NFL broadcast landscape. If weâre pushing the hopes to the peak, each team getting their local announce team would be the pinnacle of the concept.
Davis sounded like there is a chance he and Brandon Gaudin werenât returning for Madden 25, as he said, âItâs been a great run.â However, Davis and Gaudin could be one of the announce teams available to the user.
Audio updates on this level are a bigger deal than most fans realize. In any case, itâs refreshing to see a pure presentation element receive some attention.
