Away, the original disruptor of the carry-on bag, is re-releasing its iconic Classic line, featuring new colors, a cool gloss finish and a new size with a streamlined silhouette, all in the brandās signature polycarbonate material.

As Away continues to innovate its product assortment, every element of its iconic suitcase has been re-evaluated with attention to detail and superior materials. Its key design updates include:
- Redesigned handles that are easier to grip and lift, enhancing both the aesthetics and functionality of the suitcase
- An additional underside grab handle that makes lifting easier (especially from the baggage claim carousel), featuring a wide hand opening with rounded edges for added comfort
- Updated trolly system that’s more comfortable and stable
- Refreshed 360Ā° spinner wheels to ensure a sleek look and smooth ride
- Updated zipper shape that swivels, rotates, and locks more seamlessly
- Updated TSA-accepted combination lock that’s integrated into the shell
- Refreshed luggage tag, now color matched to the exterior shell, featuring a slimmer profile and reduced hardware
- Redesigned interior organization, now color matched, featuring three additional pockets and Away’s signature compression system
- Increased laundry bag size, featuring a new drawstring closure that doubles as a hanger for the bag
The re-release of Away’s Classic suitcases also features seven new colors: olive, chili, persimmon, seafoam, salt, wave and garnet. According to the brand, the palette is inspired by the world itself and offers an expressive selection to join its best-selling colors, like black and navy.
With its new Classic selection, Away is improving its sustainable practices. Through thoughtful design and manufacturing techniques, the brand is bettering the circularity in the product development process and the impact of new products. Its new Classic bags use more recycled content than ever before.
